Irregularly shaped and sized bars have also been produced. These bars are stamped with their troy weight and percentage purity. Never buy a silver bar that is not stamped as described. The value of silver bars is primarily based upon their silver content and weight. They do not have artwork, aside from generic designs, and rarity is not important.
